Oral health care

Varkaus City and Joroinen Municipality have a shared customer service desk for dental care appointments. The need for care and urgency are assessed when the call to book an appointment is made. Where possible, patients requiring first-aid type of care are treated during the same day, while others are given appointments according to urgency.

If the call is not taken, it will be transferred to the answering service which will return your call during the same day. If your number is unlisted, you need to leave it with the answering service.

Please note! If you are a new patient, print and complete the following preliminary data form and bring it with you to the appointment.

Cancelling an appointment

You can cancel an appointment with a dentist, oral hygienist or dental hygienist 24/7 by leaving a message with the answering service at +358 17 579 6500.

If you are over 18, no new appointment is made for you automatically; you have to book a new appointment yourself. The appointment must be cancelled by 14.00 on the previous day. A charge of EUR 50.80 applies if you fail to show up for your appointment without cancelling it.
You cannot cancel an appointment by a text message!
